15 March 2013. Palawan.
We took the 7 o'clock morning Eulyn Joy van for Puerto Princesa. Since breakfast at El Nido starts at 7 o'clock, we traveled on an empty stomach. I suggest you stack up on snacks because the only stop-over is at Roxas which is a good three to four hours away from El Nido. Unexpectedly, we had a flat tire 21 kilometers away from Puerto Princesa. Since we didn't know a thing about changing tires, we whiled away the time marveling at an unknown beach across the road.
We finally arrived at Puerto Princesa at around 12.30 in the afternoon. Our arrangement with the van driver was for him to drive us to the airport, but since it was too early, we dropped by LRC 908 Market Mall for last minute souvenir shopping. From the souvenir shop, we took a tricycle for Php50.00/ride to Ka Lui for lunch. Ka Lui is the only restaurant I went to that requires its patrons to eat barefoot, so expect the floors to be really, really clean. The establishment is open daily, except on Sundays.
After lunch, we proceeded to the airport on board a tricycle for Php40.00/ride. At around 8 in the evening, I was back to the stress and the city.
