3 October 2010. Xi’an.
According to my limited readings, the Han Yang Ling Museum is located in eastern Xianyang City, 22 kilometers from both Xianyang airport and Xi’an. The Han Yang Ling tomb is the joint tomb of Liu Qi, the fourth emperor of the Western Han Dynasty (206 B.C. – 220 A.D.)and his Empress, Wang.
It was an underground excavation, and we were required to have a plastic covering for our shoes because the steps were made of glass.
As soon as we had our fill of tombs and figurines, we proceeded to the airport for our flight to Guangzhou (myself, my cousin, and Joy.) Jen, meanwhile, was going to a different Chinese province to continue her Southeast Asia backpacking.
